Husni was born in Tarempa, the capital city of Anambas and lived there until he went to Tanjung Pinang to pursue further education in Information Technology. He is the village facilitator at Telaga Village, one of the villages that BAF is implementing the programmes. Originally from the village, Husni growing up at the remote area and studied there until he left the village to learn Information Technology at one of the Indonesian technology school in Tanjung Pinang.
He joined Anambas Foundation in 2018 because he wanted to help bring positive change in Anambas. His responsibility is to monitor the implementation of Organic Farming, Women Empowerment, and Integrated Waste Management (IWM) programs, as well as bridging the communication between BAF and village government.
