Geri Susanto was born in Kiabu Island, the farthest inhabitant island in Anambas. He came from a simple family. His father works as fishermen who goes to ocean every day to fulfill the family needs. With the simple family condition, he appreciated the hard work of the parents who’s been struggled to send him to school.
In 2010, he graduated from Madrasah Aliyah School and continue studied in one of the State Universities in Tanjung Pinang. He took Sociology to learn about community life and social interaction. He has a dream to develop the village by changing the mindset of the people who are not yet used to accepting new ideas and changes. By becoming village facilitator, he is responsible to monitor digital english club programme implementation and solid waste management. Furthermore, he will responsible for the upcycling waste and run the recycling justify in Kiabu.
